Isn’t it a good time to rethink your wedding for 2022? Everyone’s wedding plans have been derailed during covid. Some postponed, some cancelled, some opted for intimate elopements, and some chose zoom weddings. 2021 was the come back year of weddings (kind of) but according to the wedding report, there will be an estimated 2.5 million weddings — the most in the U.S. since 1984. 2022 could be an opportunity to reimagine the destination wedding of your dream and turn it into reality – with the help of a great team of course and why not with french videographers 3 Petits Points :-P

When wedding planner & designer, Estelle, from Madame Wedding Design contacted us for a project in historic Chateau de Varennes in Burgundy - France; we knew already that the castle had been photographed and filmed so many times by great talents. We, along with Estelle, the talented photographers duo, Mailysfortunephotography & Greg Batardon, and famous florist, Floresie, had to rethink and imagine a wedding from a different perspective….a dreamlike perspective.

We developed this wedding editorial around the keywords, flower, movement, and dream.

From the sharp eyes of Mailys and Greg, to the soothing precision of Florésie, and with the guidance of Estelle, to the refined artistry of Made in Cake, and finally with the cheerful vibes from make up artist, Lorelen and Hair stylist, Ciara; we gathered unconventional elements in order to inspire real couples to go a little bit against the standards of traditional weddings. Everything was designed like a dream:

A couple floating in lake full of flowers, or running between a mess of chairs - because we often run in dreams and because nothing is ever tidy. Dance moves on a beautiful flowery table reception, etc.

These elements are indeed unconventional; but this is definitely not something impossible to do as long as the wedding vendors are open for something avant-garde.

On a day like no other, a day of celebration, it is difficult to discern who is the flower, who is the rose, in all its beauty.

Sitting at my flourish table I look at another reflection, the one of simple and magical freedom, I look at the beauty of a rose. Am I this rose in the eyes of my tender and beautiful love?

Our union is in the reflection of all these roses, also in the expression of movement, in the cycle of life, which is always infinite. If I had to describe to you our love and what we are... Would we be the movement dancing in a dreamlike universe? Would we be the flower in this authentic and organic universe like this beautiful minimalist and raw wedding ceremony?

We are the flower and the movement reflected in the sky and the clouds of the castle of Varennes."
